NextImg:My toddler’s latest obsession is just $99 on Amazon — and making waves during Prime Day

I swore I’d never be one of those people with a giant inflatable pool plopped in the backyard.

Yet here I am (in New York City, of all places) with one taking up nearly every inch of our very tiny garden space. But as parents, we make sacrifices, and sometimes that means trading aesthetics for our children’s joy… and a little bit of sanity. Especially when said pool is marked down to just $99 during Amazon Prime Day.

Is this the luxury rooftop pool most adults dream of? No, not really. But, do I regret purchasing it? Not at all. My two-year-old gets very restless when she’s not moving around, and she loves nothing more than splashing around and cooling off in our little blue lagoon, also known as the RUANSZZ Extra Large Inflatable Pool on Amazon.

Seeing that we’ve had dozens of scorching hot days this summer, it’s pretty much the only place I can take her without stressing that she’s getting too hot. Better yet, the spacious design can fit the dog too, and several adults. If you’re into pool parties, it’s the place to be.

It arrived with an air pump and manual, and the setup was a breeze. It took about fifteen minutes, most of which I spent sitting down, watching it inflate. They threw in some patches, too — not that you’ll need them, the walls are made with a very thick, highly durable material. We’ve had it up for a few weeks now, and it’s still as firm as the day I filled it.

As it turns out, the oversized inflatable pool I once detested may be the best backyard decision I’ve ever made (aside from this patio set, that is). It’s my toddler’s current obsession, and for just $99 during Prime Day, it could be yours, too.

This oversized inflatable pool is making a splash as a must-have for families battling the summer heat. Measuring 15 feet long and made with thick, durable PVC, it’s big enough for kids, pets, and even a few adults looking to cool off without leaving the backyard. The setup is refreshingly low-effort — it inflates in under 10 minutes with the included pump, and drains easily thanks to a built-in vertical outlet. Three separate air chambers keep the structure sturdy, even with several kids flopping around in it. When temperatures soar, it’s hard to beat this blow-up oasis.
