A mom on TikTok shared the moment her husband passed out while she was giving birth.
The clip has now been viewed over 12 million times and it’s clear to see why, especially with mom Corianne Johnsons’s hilarious commentary of the situation.
The 11-second footage begins with Corianna (or someone else) filming a nurse tending to her in bed.
Meanwhile, you can see a man’s legs in the corner of the screen.
Her husband is lying down in the fetal position and another nurse is checking in on him and bringing him an icepack for his sore head.
It then cuts to a photo of him a few moments later sitting up and getting some fluids into him.
He also has some food next to him as well but he’s still on the floor.
The final shot is of her husband lying on the couch covered in a blanket and getting some rest.
Oh, the luxury to be able to be a dad at that moment… as opposed to pushing out a literal human!
The text over the screen reveals what her husband said to her before going into the hospital…
“I’m totally not going to pass out while you’re in labor, babe.”
Uh oh – that didn’t go to plan!
Corianna captioned the clip: “He tried his best.”
“How can I make this about me”
Viewers thought the whole situation was hilarious and also shared their own similar experiences.
“The nurse casually walking over to him like this happens every 20 minutes for them hahaha,” someone pointed out.
“How can I make this about me? he said,” joked another.
“He’s all tucked in like he had a hard day,” quipped this person.
“Audacity should be every man’s middle name,” claimed one commenter.
“He became a patient himself,” pointed out someone else.
Then this mom shared, “The nurses made my husband leave the room for my epidural. Said most men faint if they see the procedure done.”
“My husband also passed out… twice and threw up all before I even had the emergency C-section,” admitted another woman.
