Who doesn’t want some extra cash? According to one savvy TikToker, it’s as easy as a trip to Costco.

The creator Rios, who posts under @riostoriches, made a clip explaining how he makes some extra cash — revealing he made $1,000 in one week.

“We will hold your hand and teach you how to do this step by step,” he captioned in the TikTok, which was posted on April 4.

“This is how I made $1,000 [£800] in one weekend,” he started the video, showing him pushing a trolley into Costco, noting he was looking for “anything profitable.”

The influencer walked into the mega-store, picking up a box of crackers which he noted was selling for $9.89.

“[They] sell for $26.99 on Amazon,” he added. “So I make about $4.76 [profit] per [item], so I had to clear stock.”

Preempting any discourse over the act, he quipped: “Please don’t hate me. I’m a man of volume.”

Rios showed his “simple” side hustle — but not all agree.

“Don’t hate the player, hate the game,” he sassily added.

The TikToker then showed him packing the mountains of boxes into his Tesla — noting it was “probably a bad idea” but it “got the job done.”

Rios said later in the day, he ended up sending the packages off the Amazon, boasting a cool profit of $1,000 in “less than a week.”

“It’s that easy,” he concluded the video, which has been viewed over 447,000 times.

Although Rios, who often posts side hustle hacks to his page, is happy with his gig, not all commenters agreed with his unorthodox way of making some cash on the side.

“Bro is THE MIDDLE MAN,” one user wrote skeptically.

“The math ain’t mathing,” another wrote, noting he hadn’t accounted for his personal labor cost, material cost and other expenditures.

Some simply thought it looked like too much work.

“All that for $1,000,” a TikToker joked.

“Too much work.. way too much for a little profit,” another agreed.

“It’s not money in your sleep,” another pointed out. “You gotta go and ship every item separately.”
