The Issue: An antisemitic assault on an Orthodox rabbi and students by a motorist in Canarsie.
I was appalled and very disturbed to read on the front page of The Post that a Pakistani immigrant delivery driver tried to run down a rabbi and Orthodox students outside a Brooklyn yeshiva, screaming, “I’m going to kill all Jews” (“I’m Gonna Kill all the Jews,” May 30).
My question is: When is all this hate of Jews going to end?
Now, as a Catholic, my next question is: Were we not all created by God to love one another and to respect all our brothers and sisters no matter our race, color, religion and national origins?
As the song goes, “All the world needs is love.”

This antisemitism manifests not only in those with alleged psychiatrically criminal issues such as driver Asghar Ali, but also among those in the supposed mainstream of society.
Turn the page of The Post and we come upon the International Criminal Court, whose bias against Jews is patently obvious, but laced with political correctness.

The suspect in the attack is a Pakistani immigrant who was yelling “I’m gonna kill all the Jews.”
But per the NYPD there is no reason to believe this was terror-related.
And as usual, the suspect has “mental issues,” excusing his act.
It seems that all of the violent crimes committed in NYC are due to mental illness — nothing else.

In the 1960 film “Exodus” about Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi Europe for Palestine, Paul Newman’s character, a member of a Jewish paramilitary group, says at one point that “Jewish blood is cheap . . . cheaper than herring.”
It seems to still be true today. 1,200 Jews were murdered last October in Israel — and now this in the United States.

While Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg was laser-focused on convicting former President Donald Trump, people are allegedly trying to run over Jewish students and rabbis.
The perpetrators are known, their names are out there, and yet it seems that nothing of consequences happens to them.
Not just Jewish people are being attacked, but subway riders as well.
There are countless stories of riders being shoved on the tracks.
But Bragg is just too busy to care about the city that elected him. JJ Levine

The Issue: Controversies over a US flag flown outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.
It’s disgraceful the way Justice Samuel Alito’s family is being treated (“Alito flag ‘scandal’ is a partisan hit job,” Post Opinion, Joe Concha, May 24).
I agree with Martha Ann Alito that we should be flying our country’s flag upside down.
We are really in whole lot of trouble, caused by President Biden and the Democratic Party.
I will, from now until former President Donald Trump is reelected — if that day ever comes — put all my flag stamps upside down on my mail.
This 89-year-old Navy veteran is sorry he’s not younger, so he could be more active in saving this once-great country.
The progressive liberals must be stopped.

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito cannot compel his own wife to take down an upside-down flag?
It’s hard to fathom.
Especially considering Alito’s vote in a 5-4 decision could determine how 330 million Americans must act or vote.
