Underdog bettors have been cleaning up on “Monday Night Football” over the past several weeks.
Since Week 10, underdogs have won seven straight MNF games after the Seahawks took down the Eagles as a 4.5-point ‘dog this week.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, it’s the longest streak of underdog wins on “Monday Night Football” since its debut in 1970.
The wild streak kicked off over a month ago when the Broncos beat the Bills in Buffalo as +300 (BetMGM) underdogs.
The Eagles kept it going a week later by defeating the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch.
In Week 13, the unbeaten stretch was very nearly cut short.
In that Monday night game, the Bengals and Jaguars ended regulation tied at 31.
With three minutes left in overtime, Cincinnati grabbed the W with a field goal, securing the upset.
A week later, the streak continued two-fold during the NFL’s third and final MNF doubleheader.
The Titans beat the Dolphins as 13.5-point underdogs in what was the biggest moneyline upset of the season thus far, and the Giants (+5.5) beat the Packers.
The Ravens will have the chance to extend the streak to eight on Christmas when they play the San Francisco 49ers in one of the most anticipated matchups of the season.
Baltimore is currently +5.5 and +190 on the moneyline.
There’s a lot more than the MNF underdog streak in that game, though.
The 49ers and Ravens, both 11-3 and the top seeds in their conference, currently make up the top two on the Super Bowl odds board at FanDuel Sportsbook.
San Francisco, however, is the overwhelming favorite at +220, while Baltimore trails at +550.
Quarterbacks Brock Purdy (-200) and Lamar Jackson (+500) are also the favorites to win the NFL MVP Award at FanDuel.
