There’s a new World Series favorite heading into the divisional round.
But it’s also a familiar one.
The Dodgers (+320), who were favorites to repeat nearly all season long before a late-season dip, re-took favorite status after sweeping the Reds in two games during their wild-card match up.
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Los Angeles Dodgers | +320 |
Philadelphia Phillies | +475 |
New York Yankees | +500 |
Seattle Mariners | +550 |
Toronto Blue Jays | +750 |
Milwaukee Brewers | +800 |
Detroit Tigers | +800 |
Chicago Cubs | +800 |
After surviving the first round of the postseason, the Dodgers take over from the Phillies (+475), who were a brief World Series favorite after earning a wild-card round bye.
With a series win over the rival Red Sox, the Yankees (+500) now have the best World Series odds of any team in the American League.
But just barely.
The Mariners, who rode a late-season hot streak to an AL West title and first-round bye, are +550 to win it all.

They’re followed closely by the Blue Jays, who stole the AL East from the Bombers and now-eliminated Red Sox, and Cubs, who gutted out a wild-card win over the Padres, at +750.
The Brewers and Tigers are the biggest long shots on the board at DraftKings Sportsbook at +800.
The Dodgers came into the season as a massive favorite to repeat in 2025.
