People named Ryan, only Ryan, hundreds of them, gathered in a bar in NYC this weekend to break a “same name in one spot” record.

The record will quickly be put to the test. The next four weeks, people named Galifianakis, Antetokounmpo, Ochocinco, and Cococrisp will get their shot at glory.

The Mets won, the D’backs won, and my sausage-flavored ice cream was a huge hit at the San Gennaro festival.

Nolan McLean shut out the Rangers for six innings, but the Mutts bullpen did what they do. Pete Alonso’s three-run homer snapped the Mets’ eight-game losing streak and ours as well. Final 5-2.

Then Nabil Crismatt (3-0) pinned the Twins to the mat. James McCann hit a three-run homer and the Snakes beat the Twins 6-4.
