NextImg:Miu Miu’s $5,600 sequin panties may be the most expensive underwear ever

This will get the internet’s panties in a twist.

Miu Miu’s sequin, silk and wool underwear might just be the most expensive pair of undergarments in the world, ringing in at $5,600.

On the runway and online, the glittering, embellished knickers — which come in a golden nude hue and a rosy pink shade that is nearly sold out — were styled over a pair of sheer black tights along with a sweater and pumps.

The shiny skivvies are perhaps the world’s most expensive undies available to purchase ever. While Victoria’s Secret has put out million-dollar Fantasy bras and underwear, the original designs were never available for purchase, only replicas.

However, Miu Miu’s $5,600 underthings are substantially more expensive than Nice Laundry’s $1,400 boxers woven with gold and Gucci’s $4,000 silk and crystal encrusted corset.

The latest dazzling unmentionables are the upper-crust rendition of the no-pants trend that has graced the streets and social media alike in recent months.

Seemingly spurred by Kendall Jenner last winter, celebrities are letting it all hang out in Winnie the Pooh fashion — sans pants.

Bella Hadid wandered the streets of Manhattan in tighty-whities and Ugg boots, while Kylie Jenner arrived at the Loewe Paris Fashion Week show in September wearing the brand’s white briefs with sheer nylons underneath.

Then, following a slew of red carpet looks from Emma Corrin, Taylor Swift and Julia Fox, the pantsless fad hit the catwalks of Bottega Veneta, Coperni, Tom Ford and Burberry.

Miu Miu appears to be the latest fashion house jumping aboard the trend train. In addition to the $5,600 sequin skivvies, the brand lists a pair of cashmere panties for more than $1,000 and floral embroidered nylon underwear for $1,420.

But we aren’t just seeing A-listers’ underpants — peekaboo brassières are making a comeback, paying homage to the Y2K heydays revived by Gen Z.

The brazen underwear as outerwear trend is in the same vein as peekaboo bras or naked fashion.

At the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, Sydney Sweeney and Scarlett Johansson sported bras that peeked out from the neckline of their silky frocks, almost like a purposeful wardrobe malfunction.

The undergarments-as-outerwear fads are just a bit more conservative than the ever-popular naked dressing trend that has taken the fashion world by storm in recent years.

“People want women to behave and be covered up like you’re in ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ or something,” Fox, known for her risque, daring looks for Fashion Week, previously told The Post.

“A lot of times when people get dressed they’re thinking, ‘Will other people like it?’ And I’m always just thinking, ‘Do I like it?’” she said. “I have to think it’s cool and then I don’t really give a s–t what other people think.”
