The nursing student who was found dead on the University of Georgia campus after she vanished on a jog has been identified as Laken Hope Riley, officials said.
Riley, 22, was found with “visible injuries” near a lake around 12:38 p.m. Thursday, and authorities are investigating her death as possible foul play, the Athens-Clarke County coroner told CNN Friday.
Her cause and manner of death are still pending, officials said.

Riley was a student at the Augusta University College of Nursing in Athens, which is also home to the University of Georgia, WSB-TV2 reported.
She was first reported missing by her roommate.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
The Athens-Clarke County Coroner did not immediately return The Post’s request for a comment.
