ESPN personalities Mina Kimes and Ryan Clark bristled at a conservative influencer who ripped the network for giving Kimes a lucrative new deal.
The Post’s Andrew Marchand reported Wednesday that Kimes signed a new deal with ESPN worth $1.7 million a year, with an additional carve out for her Omaha Productions podcast distributed by ESPN bringing the total deal to more than $2 million annually.
Enter Nick Adams, an Australian-born, conservative-leaning author and vlogger who is playing a character that is an amplified version of himself, often touting masculinity, and never breaks character.
“ESPN just gave a HUGE new contract to their ‘NFL analyst’ Mina Kimes,” Adams tweeted.
“Kimes has never played a down of football in her life, yet she will be paid $1.7 million a year to talk about it on woke ESPN. ESPN is no longer about sports, it’s about promoting equity among the genders!”
Kimes responded with a video of herself punting a football a few months ago during the NFL Draft, with the caption: “Cope harder.”
Clark, who is a regular analyst on ESPN’s “NFL Live” alongside Kimes, defended her football acumen to Adams.
“Never knew an ‘Alpha Male’ that had to proclaim it his bio. Usually you can just tell by a Man’s actions, & from this one tweet alone I now know why you have to type it out,” Clark tweeted.
“It reminds you what you’ve always wanted but will never be! I take @minakimes over anybody you have!”
Adams previously had a feud with golf influencer Paige Spiranac that started when he griped about women “clogging up” elite golf courses on the weekends, to which Spiranac responded that “It would be so satisfying to outdrive you all day long.”
