Bravo fans were the recipients of some surprising news yesterday when Heather Altman and Josh Altman, stars of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, announced their departure from the show, effective immediately. Josh joined as a main cast member during Season 4, while Heather, who has also appeared in several seasons, took on a larger role this past season.
The Altmans shared the news of their departure in a joint statement shared to both of their Instagram accounts, where they stated that they will not be returning for another season of this hit luxury real estate series.
“What can we say!!! Million Dollar Listing LA has been a hell of a ride. The memories, friendships, experiences, sales, the highs, the lows and the doors it has opened we will forever be thankful for. NO REGRETS,” they wrote.
They continued, “Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey with our family and business for the past 15 years of our lives.
“What a blessing to be part of such an amazing show that started an entire genre of television. So many people to thank. And especially all of you that have been with us for the ride,” the two shared. “WE LOVE YOU!!!! Time to start a new chapter in life and spend more time with the family.”
Season 15 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles concluded in September, and though it featured Heather more prominently than in past seasons — giving fans hope that she might become a main player — it also featured plenty of tension between Josh and his colleague Josh Flagg.
Bravo has not yet announced plans or cast for MDLLA Season 16.
