Star Hornets player Miles Bridges is accused of violating a protective order by throwing billiard balls at the window and windshield of his ex-girlfriend’s car.

Bridges was previously suspended by the NBA for 30 games and given credit for 20 games of time served after missing all of last season for a domestic violence incident that occurred in Los Angeles last year, in which he was accused of choking his girlfriend, breaking her nose and giving her a concussion.

On Wednesday, the Mecklenburg County (NC) Sheriff’s Office issued a criminal summons that alleged Bridges threw billiard balls at his ex-girlfriend’s car during a custody exchange.

The summons said the billiard balls smashed the vehicle’s windshield and caused dents, and that Bridges told the victim if she called the police he would “take everything from her and withhold child support”.

Bridges was also accused of misdemeanor child abuse in the summons as his children were in the car.

Bridges’ current girlfriend was accused of screaming and kicking the car in the incident.

Earlier this week, the outlet WSOC-TV in Charlotte reported that there is a warrant out for Bridges’ arrest from a separate incident, the details of which are unknown as the warrant has been outstanding since January but not served.

Bridges had been reportedly about to receive a $173 million max contract offer from the Hornets before his domestic violence arrest last year.

He ultimately signed a one-year qualifying offer worth $7.9 million this past summer.

A warrant is reportedly out for Hornets star Miles Bridges' arrest stemming from the violation of a protective order from a previous domestic violence incident.

Bridges pled no contest in the domestic violence incident last November, receiving probation and 100 hours of community service plus an order to attend parenting classes and counseling.

The victim also received a 10-year restraining order against Bridges.

“I want to apologize to everybody for the pain and embarrassment that I have caused everyone, especially my family,” Bridges said this past July.

“This year away I’ve used to prioritize going to therapy and becoming the best person I can be — someone that my family and everyone here can be proud of. A lot of people don’t get a second chance, and I want to use this second chance to prove to everyone that I’m the same kid you drafted five years ago,” Bridges later said.
