NextImg:Michigan bettor wins $323,000 in win over Washington in college football championship title game

This bettor was all in on Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines.

Placing six huge wagers on BetMGM, this bettor put down a total of $500,000 on Michigan on Monday night and walked away with $322,744.38 in profit.

Although this bettor could’ve grabbed some better numbers on the spread had they bet it at the opening the week prior.

Michigan opened at -3.5, meaning a spread of 5.5 could’ve netted a price closer to +115 rather than -105, with every other wager also getting better odds too.

Those six bets spread across $500,000, with the -210 moneyline getting the biggest wager of $200,000 and winning $95,238.10.

Michigan jumped out to an early lead on the back of its vaunted rushing attack. Three different players received carries on their opening drive, including backups Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards.

Edwards’ lone carry on the drive would be the one that put the Wolverines ahead on the opening drive and for good.

The 41-yard scamper was the first of two 40-plus touchdown scores for the Wolverines’ junior backup running back.

Michigan did let the Washington Huskies hang around a bit, though, which certainly gave the bettor some pause going into halftime.

Washington entered the half down, 17-10, after being badly outplayed through the first half.

The Huskies received the ball at half with a chance to tie the game on the drive, but they opened with disaster.

Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw an interception, giving the Wolverines possession deep in their own territory.

Still, they kept it close until the fourth quarter when the defense finally broke, thanks to running back Blake Corrum’s hard-nosed running.

Michigan covered all sides of the spread from the opening drive as this bettor cashed in big on BetMGM.
