Cowboys star Micah Parsons thinks the rival Eagles got a stud in the 2024 NFL Draft.
He did not take it well.
The Eagles selected cornerback Quinyon Mitchell with the No. 22 pick Thursday, later than most projected him to go.
“I’m honestly utterly disgusted on how lucky the Eagles are,” Parsons said on his Bleacher Report livestream. “I do not know how he fell that far, with the the run of offensive tackles and quarterbacks, that’s the only thing that makes sense. I thought he was a top-15, top-12 talent and he just fell right into their laps.
“He was definitely one of my more favorite players in this draft. … He checked every box.”
A former Toldeo star, Mitchell shined at the NFL combine, running 4.33-second 40-yard dash (second-fastest among cornerbacks) and recording 20 reps on the bench press — most at the position.

He was a two-time All-American.
And on Thursday, Mitchell became the first cornerback drafted.
“His Senior Bowl performance was one of the best I’ve ever seen for a cornerback,” ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller previously told The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy. “The way he competed in the drills, he was manhandling guys. Receivers were trying to come off the line of scrimmage, and he’s like, ‘Nope.’ I loved watching his tape — so polished — but in the back of your head, you are like, ‘This is Toledo. How good is this?’ Really, really good is the answer.”

Mitchell will soon join a cornerback room that already possesses veterans Darius Slay and James Bradberry.
It’s the second straight year Parsons had similar sentiment — the Eagles scooped up Jordan Davis, a player he admired, in the 2023 NFL Draft.
“I think this is a great pick, Parsons said Thursday of Mitchell. “I think this is a terrific pick. I don’t know how [general manager] Howie [Roseman] and them get so lucky.”
