Down two starting pitchers, the Mets have reached outside the organization for help.
The Mets have agreed to a major league deal with veteran Julio Teheran, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported Wednesday, an instant reinforcement for a team that is without Kodai Senga and Tylor Megill.
The 33-year-old did not make the Orioles’ roster out of camp and opted out of his minor league pact.
The righty pitched to a 3.38 ERA in 13 ⅓ Grapefruit League innings, his longest outing 59 pitches.

Teheran was twice an All-Star with the Braves in a 12-year career and most recently pitched with David Stearns’ Brewers last season, when he pitched to a 4.40 ERA in 14 games.
