Fenway Park turned into a water park Friday night.

As the Mets-Red Sox game was delayed nearly two hours — and eventually suspended — due to heavy rains in the bottom of the fourth inning, the stadium was filled with water, but fans made the best of it.

Huddled around together and in need of some entertainment underneath the stands and in the walkway of the park, a shirtless fan did a body slide in the water while others cheered him on, taking photos and videos.

Others were bewildered by a waterfall that formed within the stadium.

Even Red Sox third baseman Justin Turner tweeted a video of himself wading in water with plastic bags around his legs to avoid getting wet.

“I thought we could have played through it,” he tweeted with three laughing emoji.

The weather did not let up, but neither did the fans, despite the discouraging gray sky, endless water and the tarp down with no sight of grounds crew coming back on the field.

The fans were certainly having fun during the lengthy delay, but the game was eventually suspended.

It’s set to resume Saturday at 2:10 p.m. in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Mets up 4-3.

The Mets are coming off a series victory over the White Sox while the Red Sox are returning from a series loss to the Athletics.
