Daniel Vogelbach’s time with the Mets appears to be over. 

The team decided to non-tender Daniel Vogelbach before the 8 p.m. deadline on Friday, which will make him a free agent, The Post’s Mike Puma reports.

The designated hitter was acquired by the Mets from the Pirates before the 2022 trade deadline, and he <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/08/06/daniel-vogelbach-talks-folk-hero-status-wild-baseball-journey/">totaled an .830 OPS in 55 games</a> in the second half of that season.

But this year, <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/10/04/buck-showalter-mets-brass-butted-heads-over-daniel-vogelbach/">Vogelbach largely struggled</a> with a .233/.339/.404 slash line with 13 homers and 48 RBIs. 

The 30-year-old will now be free to sign with any team.
