The pitching problems for the Mets have grown worse.

Paul Blackburn (shoulder impingement) and Dedniel Núñez (right elbow sprain) were placed on the 15-day injured list before Thursday’s finale against the Brewers at Citi Field.

The Mets, who also had optioned Blade Tidwell following his start Wednesday night, recalled righties Austin Warren, Rico Garcia and Justin Hagenman, who could be an option for Friday’s series opener against the Yankees that Blackburn was scheduled to start.

The Mets have lost two pitchers who have struggled to stay healthy.

Since coming over in a deadline trade with the A’s last year, Blackburn has missed time with a hand contusion, spinal fluid leak, knee inflammation and now the shoulder issue. He has pitched in six games this season (four starts) and owns a 7.71 ERA.

Núñez was a revelation last season before he was shut down with a strained flexor tendon, an injury that sometimes leads to elbow surgery, which prompted a very careful build-up this spring and into this season.

He has been inconsistent this year and shuffled between Triple-A Syracuse and the majors, although he had shown signs of promise recently (striking out eight while allowing two runs in his past six innings).
