Drew Smith has become the third MLB pitcher this season, and the second on the Mets, to be suspended 10 games for using sticky substances.

Smith, who was ejected in the seventh inning of Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees, did not appeal his ban, which started with Wednesday’s interleague series finale.

Starting pitcher Max Scherzer also did not appeal the 10-game suspension he received after being tossed from the Mets’ game on April 19 in Los Angeles.

Yankees righty Domingo German also missed 10 games for being caught in MLB’s sticky-stuff crackdown in May.

Drew Smith opted not to appeal the automatic ban that came with his Tuesday night ejection.

The Mets organization also had the only two pitchers suspended at the Triple-A level earlier this season, Syracuse hurlers Dylan Bundy and Eric Orze.
