


Noteworthy items during the Mets’ Grapefruit League action on Tuesday:
Brett Baty blasted his second homer of the spring in the Mets’ 3-1 exhibition victory over the Cardinals at Clover Park on Tuesday.
Baty, who owns a .726 OPS in the Grapefruit League, finished the night 1-for-3.
The potential Opening Day lineup was assembled for the first time this spring, and the result wasn’t great: The Mets were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left 10 runners on base.
Yohan Ramirez had a second straight relief appearance in which he pitched two innings without allowing a run.
The right-hander, who is a consideration for the bullpen, hasn’t surrendered an earned run in his six outings this spring.
