The Mets added some help for their bullpen with a little more than an hour to go before the MLB Trade deadline.&nbsp;

The Mets picked up reliever Tyler Zuber from the Rays in exchange for prospect Pauk Gervase, <a href="https://x.com/Joelsherman1/status/1818387491784667200" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed.&nbsp;</a>

<a href="https://nypost.com/2024/07/22/sports/rays-tyler-zuber-back-in-mlb-after-rediscovering-love-of-baseball-with-li-ducks/">Zuber had started the year in the Atlantic League </a>with the Long Island Ducks, a stint in which he credited for reinvigorating his love of baseball, Ryan Bass reported during the Bally Sports broadcast of a Rays game against the Yankees last week.&nbsp;

The Rays purchased Zuber’s contract in May and he reported to the club’s Triple-A affiliate in Durham where he remained until he was added to the major league roster following the All-Star break.
