Real Housewives of New Jersey fans will see a far different dynamic between Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice in the show’s upcoming season. While their relationship is usually somewhere between clawing each other’s eyes out and trying to remain amicable, Gorga said they won’t be speaking at all in Season 14.

On the most recent episode of Gorga’s On Display podcast, guest Denise Richards gave the host “a lot of credit” for continuing to film with Giudice despite their falling out, adding that it must be “extremely hard” for her and her family.

“Ugh, you have no idea,” Gorga said. “It’s definitely been a roller coaster, up and down, and we’re about to air again in the spring, and it’s very, very different. Like, we literally don’t even speak to each other the whole [time].”

The reality star added that there is “almost zero” communication between her and her estranged sister-in-law.

“I think it took us a while to get to that point to realize that this might be what it is, and we need to accept it,” she said. “I think, finally, everyone’s breathing and we’re all actually including the other side. Everyone is happier how it is right now.”

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Gorga praised Richards — who spent two seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — for remaining true to herself.

“You’re good with just your personality that you bring to the table,” she said. “I don’t think that when you walk into these scenes that you feel that you need to bring receipts or try to hurt or dig shit up on people’s past. We all have a past. I feel like you just walk in as yourself and that’s good enough.”

Gorga continued, “But other people do need to do the digging and figure out how they’re gonna keep their jobs and how they’re gonna stay there. I deal with that on my show all the time. I’m not one to dig in on anyone’s past either or care what they did when they were 16 or 17. I don’t give a shit.”

The Envy store owner noted that some Housewives “survive” by “being the villain or doing the dirty.”

I wonder who she could be talking about.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently streaming on Peacock.
