Stella Banderas is going to be a bride!
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas’ daughter announced her engagement to her childhood sweetheart, Alex Gruszynski, on Monday.
“I get to hang out with my favorite person on earth forever!!!!!!!! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????” the 27-year-old captioned proposal pics via Instagram.
Griffith, 67, commented, “I love you both sooooo much!! Congratulations again!!!”
In a post of her own, the actress celebrated her child’s milestone moment.
“He asked…. On bended knee… she said yes ♥️,” Griffith gushed to her followers on Tuesday. “Stella and Alex are engaged to be married ♥️ Their love story began in pre-school!”

She called the pair’s bond a “true [and] deep love,” concluding, “Congratulations to the beloveds!!! ♥️????♥️????♥️”
Both Griffith and Stella shared throwback photos from the couple’s time together – all the way from childhood to their teenage years.
Additionally, they gave glimpses of the filmmaker’s diamond ring.
Stella wore a white dress while showing off her sparkler as she shared sweet snaps from Gruszynski’s proposal, which seemingly took place during a picnic.
Banderas posted similar shots on social media, writing, “My daughter Stella del Carmen is getting married. We cannot be happier and excited.”
He and Griffith, who welcomed Stella four months after their May 1996 nuptials, finalized their divorce in 2015.
Griffith is also the mother of son Alexander, 38, and daughter Dakota, 34, with exes Steven Bauer and Don Johnson, respectively.
Dakota’s relationship made headlines just ahead of her half-sister’s engagement, with speculation swirling on Friday about her and Chris Martin breaking up.
The “Fifty Shades of Grey” star’s rep confirmed to Page Six that Dakota and the 47-year-old Coldplay frontman, who have been together since 2017, are still “happily together.”
