She’s cool for the summer.
Meghan Markle kicked off July 4 weekend in style on Friday, sporting a classic white shirt and linen shorts in Santa Barbara as she was photographed with Prince Harry for the first time since their $20 million Spotify deal was axed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, wore a white button-down from Anine Bing ($199) tucked into a pair of brown linen shorts ($128) from Reformation as the duo left an office building ahead of the holiday.
She accessorized with a light brown leather Ralph Lauren belt ($65), an old favorite pair of Valentino sunglasses and a Janessa Leoné straw fedora ($267) featuring dark brown leather trim that matched her shorts.
The mom of two added $700 Hermès slides and a stack of bracelets including her often-worn Cartier Love Bracelet ($7,350) along with Princess Diana’s Cartier tank watch.
The Duchess of Sussex’s brown-and-white look was classic Markle, as she often favors neutral shades and classic styles like button-down shirts and simple silhouettes.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry went with his usual casual look of a polo shirt, jeans and a baseball cap, wearing sunglasses as he chatted and laughed with his wife.

While it’s unclear where the duke and duchess had been visiting, the office building they left includes businesses such as a Pilates studio and Self Enquiry Life Fellowship — an organization that claims to “enhance your day-to-day life through Himalayan meditation & spiritual practices.”
Perhaps some meditation was in order after the couple’s mega-deal with Spotify ended last month.
Spotify and Archewell Audio said they “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together” after Markle’s podcast, “Archetypes,” wasn’t renewed for a second season.
Perhaps we’ll see the two in Pilates gear next.
