Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are blending their families.

When the Amazon founder proposed to the entertainment reporter in May 2023, he was already the father of four children with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

Sanchez, for her part, shares a son with NFL player Tony Gonzalez as well as a son and daughter with her ex-husband, Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell.

Sanchez and Bezos went public with their relationship in January 2019 before he finalized his divorce from Scott following 25 years of marriage.

The former “Extra” anchor debuted her $2.5 million 20-carat engagement ring on her partner’s $500 million yacht nearly five years later.

Seven years into Bezos and Scott’s marriage, the novelist gave birth to son Preston and named him after his dad’s middle moniker.

Since his 2000 arrival, Preston is the only one of the couple’s four kids whose name is publicly known.

The name has a long family history, as the entrepreneur’s grandfather was given the same one by Bezos’ great-grandfather.

While Bezos and Scott went on to welcome two more sons, the pair have kept the siblings’ names and ages under wraps.

The “Testing of Luther Albright” author did, however, speak to raising her three youngest kids full-time while her then-husband created Amazon.

“Kids … have an urgent need to be taken care of,” she said in a February 2013 Vogue interview. “After the third child, I knew I couldn’t be the kind of parent I wanted to be and continue writing. Those years were just too busy.”

Scott and Bezos are also the parents of a daughter, whom they adopted from China.

When the former couple have called it quits, they revealed their intentions to amicably co-parent their brood.

“Though the labels might be different, we remain a family,” the exes wrote in a joint statement.

Sanchez became a mom in February 2001 while in a relationship with Gonzalez, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs at the time.

The athlete later moved on with October Gonzalez. While the pair are not legally married, they had a commitment ceremony in July 2007.

Tony and Sanchez have seemingly remained on good terms, with her referring to him and October as her “best friends” in a January 2023 WSJ. Magazine interview.

Sanchez married Whitesell in August 2005. Notably, the businessman was friends with Bezos.

Nearly one year after tying the knot, the couple’s first child together, a son named Evan, was born in June 2006.

Sanchez noted in January 2023 that raising her kids with Tony and Whitesell has given her “more experience” co-parenting than Bezos.

Sanchez and Whitesell’s daughter, Ella, arrived in January 2008.

The duo separated sometime in 2018 and divorced in October 2019. Whitesell has since moved on with Australian model Pia Miller.

Bezos and Sanchez, meanwhile, now consider themselves the “Brady Bunch,” with her telling WSJ. Magazine that they “never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids.”
