Ethan Hawke was “very, very upset” with his daughter, Maya Hawke, the first time she had sex.

The actress admitted on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen“ Tuesday that she told the 52-year-old she was going to therapy — when she “really went to lose [her] virginity” instead.

As host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Bryan Cranston cracked up at the confession, Maya added, “I can’t believe I just said that, but that’s the truth.”

She clarified that Ethan didn’t find out at the time where she had gone instead of therapy, but her “Good Lord Bird” co-star was angry nonetheless.

To keep him off her trail, Maya replied, “How am I supposed to have secrets if I’m not allowed to tell lies?”

After being praised for the “good line” worthy of a “bumper sticker,” the singer joked to Bravo viewers that her father was “foiled again” later on.

Ethan welcomed Maya in 1998 with then-wife Uma Thurman. He and the “Kill Bill” star are also the parents of son Levon, 21.

Maya opened up about her parents’ 2005 divorce last year, telling As If magazine that she learned not to “take one another for granted” as they co-parented.

“Every weekend is a special weekend because there’s a high value placed on time spent together,” the “Little Women” star explained. “You no longer have a feeling of infinite time; you quickly realize it’s borrowed time.”
