Max Scherzer will not appeal his suspension, after all.

The Mets ace said Thursday night that he will accept the 10-game ban MLB handed down after he was ejected Wednesday when umpires deemed his hand was too sticky.

Scherzer, who contends that his hand was sticky only from the combination of sweat and rosin, said his suspension will begin with Thursday’s game against the Giants in San Francisco.

The right-hander said he’s accepting the ban because a neutral arbitrator would not be hearing his appeal.

As The Post’s Joel Sherman reported, MLB special assistant to the commissioner John McHale would have overseen the hearing.

“Given that process, I really — I wasn’t gonna come out on top, given that,” Scherzer told reporters.
