These rumors are running rife.

Matt Rife denied he underwent plastic surgery after conspiracy theories about the drastic changes to his face swirled online.

The comedian, 29, claimed in his book, “Your Mom’s Gonna Love Me,” out Tuesday, that his altered appearance was due to delayed puberty.

“Puberty, after its sweet time for more than 20 years, finally decided to hit me square in the face,” he wrote.

Rife explained that he went from looking like “a 13-year-old” to his “actual age” — “like an actual grown-ish man” — in just a few months.

The Netflix star described his face suddenly getting “wider” and his features becoming “more prominent,” adding that he also got a “few inches taller.”

Additionally, Rife attributed his changed look to regularly hitting the gym with his close friend and fellow comic Dane Cook.

“I started every day off by lifting,” he shared. “It cleared my head.”

The actor acknowledged that his “bizarrely stunted journey through puberty” inspired “a million-and-one internet conspiracies” about him undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Rife then whined about how his comedy career began to suffer after he became better-looking with age.

“As a comic, you’re supposed to make the audience like you, right?” he wrote in his memoir. “Well, who the f–k likes attractive people? No one!”

As for the plastic surgeons who have theorized that the “Wild ‘N Out” alum has gotten facial injections and undergone other operations, he hit back at them for having a “frightening lack of common sense.”

Rife has addressed his objectively attractive features in his past stand-up routines.

“This s–t just happened,” he said, pointing to his face during a live show last year. “Puberty hit me so disrespectfully late. I was ugly as s–t for the first 22 years of my life. Like, I know I look like every f–kboy ever. But I do identify as ‘ugly person.’ That does technically make me trans, um, trans-hansom. Transom.”

The social media sensation also poked fun at his jawline, saying that even if he tried to take his own life, he would not be able to hang himself because his “jaw would cut the f–king rope.”
