Matt Hasselbeck is another big name on ESPN’s chopping block.
Hasselbeck’s time with the company has come to an end after seven years, The Post has learned.
His primary role was as an analyst on “Sunday NFL Countdown” and he also contributed to a number of other ESPN TV and radio platforms.
This is the third round of layoffs at ESPN in 2023, as parent company Disney announced a broader initiative to eliminate 7,000 jobs earlier this year.
Previous rounds have focused on behind-the-scenes employees, while The Post previously reported this round would claim about 20 high-priced on-air talents.
Other stalwarts who have been let go on Friday included Jeff Van Gundy, Jalen Rose, Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson, Suzy Kolber, Steve Young, Ashley Brewer and LaPhonso Ellis.
Neil Everett’s and Chris Chelios’ exits from the company had been previously reported.
Hasselbeck had a 17-year NFL career with the Packers, Seahawks, Titans and Colts.
