The saints will to go marching in once again for Martin Scorsese and FOX Nation.

The subscription streaming service announced on Wednesday that Martin Scorsese Presents: THE SAINTS, the docudrama hosted, narrated and executive produced by the Goodfellas director, will return for a sophomore season this fall.

The next installment will be comprised of eight episodes, and is set to premiere in two parts, with the first four episodes being released weekly starting in November. As FOX Nation’s press release states, the second half of episodes will “conclude in May 2026, spanning the Holy season.”

The following eight saints will be honored in their own episode this season: Saint Mary the Virgin, Saint Peter, Saint Carlo Acutis, Saint Patrick, Saint Paul, Saint Longinus, Saint Lucia, and Saint Thomas Becket.

“For many years, I dreamed of telling stories of the lives of the saints,” Scorsese shared in a statement. “It’s been an obsession of mine for as long as I can remember. So the chance to do this series meant the world to me, and it’s heartening to know that people have responded to it. I’m very excited to be coming back for a second season.”

Series creator Matti Leshem said that they “were thrilled by the response to season one and are deeply grateful to FOX Nation for the opportunity to continue telling these extraordinary stories.”

THE SAINTS celebrates the very best of humanity—courage, sacrifice, and above all, faith,” Leshem added.

FOX News Media Chief Digital and Marketing Officer Jason Klarman said, “It was evident our subscribers wanted more, and we delivered. We’re thrilled to welcome back Mr. Scorsese for season two of THE SAINTS, it truly has been a remarkable partnership.”

Like Season 2, Season 1, also spotlighted eight saints, delving into the lives of Joan of Arc, Francis of Assisi, Thomas Becket, Moses the Black, John the Baptist, Sebastian, Mary Magdalene, and Maximillian Kolbe. DECIDER contributor Joel Keller gave the series a STREAM IT in his Martin Scorsese Presents: THE SAINTS review, writing, “There is some inherent cheesiness to the scripted parts of Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints, but the stories try to ground themselves in human reality, and Scorsese’s presents adds his gravitas and genuine curiosity about faith and the Catholic church.”
