What can’t Martha do?

Martha Stewart revealed a sizzling surprise on the “Today” show this morning, unveiling her 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.

The lifestyle guru, 81 — who is the oldest model the magazine has ever had — beams at the camera as she wears a plunging one-piece suit by Monday Swimwear ($192) along with a billowing orange cover-up by Torso Creations in the cover shot.

Stewart wears her hair in a bouncy blowout for the pic, sporting glowy makeup including orange lipstick to match her cape-like ensemble.

“I like that picture,” Stewart says with a laugh in the “Today” clip, admitting she was “sort of shaking.”

Of her experience, she says it was “odd” to be photographed in swimwear “in front of all those people” but it “turned out OK.”

The cookbook author was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic for the shoot, sporting 10 elegant swimsuits in the images including a sassy red one-piece and a glimmering bronze look.

As for her groundbreaking photos, Stewart seems to be taking it in stride.

“When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,'” she tells the magazine, adding, “And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.”

The celebrity chef continues, “Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important and not your age.”

Perhaps it should come as no surprise that Stewart is one of this year’s cover stars; after all, she’s been a longtime fan of a sultry selfie and even released a clothing line with some of her more iconic snapshots.
