Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos brought their A-game on this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark with their annual (and especially elaborate) Halloween special.
This year, the co-hosts donned couple costumes spanning multiple decades, and in honor of pop star Taylor Swift‘s most recent historic tour, the show was named “Live‘s Halloween: The Eras Tour.”
Although the two spotlighted Swift and her high-profile hunk Travis Kelce throughout the special, Ripa and Consuelos’ most memorable mocking was arguably their portrayal of a former famous couple who, in Ripa’s words, “really rocked reality”: Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval.
If you’re in need of a refresher, the Bravo bombshells, who had been dating for nine years, suffered a nasty falling out after Sandoval had an affair with Madix’s friend and co-star, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss
While Consuelos warned that “this one’s gonna get hairy,” no one was prepared for what he had in store.
Donning a black t-shirt and a modest mustache, Consuelos’ Sandoval uttered, “Me and Raquel, we became like, really good friends.”
Ripa’s Madix replied with a ton of expletives bleeped out of the scene, ultimately whining, “You just had to BLEEP my friend!”
Similar to the actual reality star, Consuelos’ Sandoval attempted various lame excuses, explaining that he and Leviss “were actually like, respecting each other!”
However, as their spat continued, Consuelos’ Sandoval stache seemingly grew out of nowhere.

They recreated the VPR Season 10 reunion, where “Scandoval” took centerstage. Clips of Sandoval’s cast mates, such as James Kennedy, turning on him were featured, including him slamming Sandoval as “a worm with a mustache.”
However, a new reality star became the center of attention in Live‘s rendition, as the following question flashed across the screen: “But what if the truth was right under your nose?”

This query became quite literal, as Consuelos-as-Sandoval became a larger-than-life mustache.
“Described as “the breakout star and new face of reality TV,” the special suggested that “the mustache has a story to tell.”
Consuelos truly deserves a big bravo for this performance.
