There were no blank spaces left in Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa‘s opening chat. On this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the married couple became the latest to talk about the “phenomenon” that is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s budding love story.

It all began when Consuelos offered his weekly sports recap, which quickly shifted gears as he pointed out the fanfare over Swift’s attendance at the New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday night (Oct. 1). It marked the second Chiefs game in a row that Swift has attended to support her rumored beau, who is the team’s tight end.

“Man, it was quite a big thing,” Consuelos said. “Taylor Swift went to the game. She brought Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Hugh Jackman was there.”

While Ripa said she hasn’t been on social media much lately, she noticed how the news had infiltrated her feed over the weekend.

“On the plane, I kept seeing all of these Taylor Swift at a football game things on my feed,” she said. “I don’t follow football so it’s weird that Taylor Swift at a football game is popping up in my feed. Every post is a different vantage point of Taylor Swift at a football game. Is she dating this man?”

After the “women in the first three rows” seemingly confirmed the romance rumors, Consuelos subtly noted that Swift did not put Kelce on the map, despite what her fans may think.

“He’s been doing really well for himself,” he said. “[He] has a couple Super Bowls, he’s made a name for himself separate of Taylor Swift but he has a whole new audience — a whole new Swiftie audience. It’s a phenomenon.”

Before moving on, Consuelos asked for some background on the 12-time Grammy Award winner since, according to him, he doesn’t follow her as much as the rest of the world.

“Does she write about her boyfriends? She does. Historically? In an endearing way?” he asked, to which an audience member called out that she writes in a “truthful” way.

“Truthful! Some would say artistic license. So, Travis, you have that to look forward to,” Consuelos said, while Ripa added, “I look forward to the album.”
