Margaret Josephs had a candid response while looking back on her first-ever Watch What Happens Live appearance.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star stopped by Sunday night’s (May 19) episode of Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show, where he pulled up a clip from her 2017 sit-down in the Bravo Clubhouse.
In the clip, Cohen asks Josephs to deliver a sales pitch for her iconic pigtails.
“You know what? They’re disarming and charming and everybody likes to bang a girl in pigtails,” Josephs says. “I don’t care what you say. I mean, seriously, they made you bang-able, they’re adorable, they’re fun. And they work on the Marge!”
After watching the hilarious snippet, the reality star joked, “Thank God I got plastic surgery.”
In all seriousness, she added, “It’s so cute. I love being here. You know what it is? You come into the Clubhouse, you just want to open up. You feel like you’re with your best friends. It’s a non-judgmental zone until the world sees it. I love it so much. It’s such good memories. It’s so cute. I can’t believe it’s so many years already.”
Unlike the vast majority of celebrities, Josephs has always been open about her plastic surgery. She revealed in 2019 that she had a facelift, before announcing in 2020 that she had a boob lift and reduction.

She has even admitted to using Ozempic to help her shed some weight.
“After menopause, it’s so hard to lose weight and then you’re shamed for it if you’re heavy,” she said during a recent episode of Sherri. “It shuts off that food noise, my blood work is great. [Before Ozempic] I couldn’t do anything. It doesn’t matter if I was eating right or exercising so I don’t know why there’s any shame in it if it’s helpful to people.”
Josephs added that she felt a sense of responsibility when it came to being honest about the work she’s had done.
“This is not natural,” she said. “It takes a village. No one wakes up like this and no one on social media wakes up like that and everybody that’s trying to fool somebody, it’s not.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
