A massive manhunt is underway for a pair of violent teenagers who busted out of Louisiana jail — with officials admitting they didn’t even know they were missing out until a relative tipped off the authorities.

Omarion Hoofkin and Avery Guidry, both 19, were being held at the Tangipahoa Parish jail on homicide charges when they climbed a fence and fled from the jailhouse recreation yard on Saturday, the parish sheriff’s office said in a post on Facebook.

Guidry and Hoofkin, who was also charged with aggravated battery for a brawl at another Louisiana lockup, busted out of jail with Jamarcus Cyprian, 20, and Travon Johnson, 21.

Johnson was also being held on the 2022 homicide case and Cyprian was serving time for armed robbery and weapons possession, the sheriff’s office said.

Those two were picked up by cops on Monday hiding in a dumpster behind a Dollar General Store in the city of Hammond after showing up at the home of family members, KTVO-TV News reported.

Jail officials said the four escapees weren’t even reported missing until the relatives tipped off cops.

“It’s very concerning,” Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office Chief Jimmy Travis told the outlet. “If the proper head counts we would [have] known immediately.

“We had a failure within that we hope to correct and move forward,” he added.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information to call the department’s crime stoppers tip line at 800-554-5245.
