A creep sexually assaulted two young girls in their sleep in the Bronx months apart, police said this week.
Ernest Robinson, 31, allegedly woke up a 10-year-old girl sleeping in her bed at a home near Boston Road and East 166th Street and rubbed his genitals against the child’s buttocks on March 11, just after midnight, police said Thursday.
The victim was not hurt.
Then, in the early morning hours of May 28, police say Robinson tried to rape a 9-year-old girl while she was sleeping in her bed in the area of Belmont Avenue and East 179th Street.
Cops have not said whether Robinson knew either of the children before the incidents.
It was not immediately clear how the 31-year-old man gained access to the young victims’ bedrooms in the middle of the night.
Police on Thursday released the wanted man’s old booking photo showing him with teardrop face tattoos and an inked neck.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
