A California man blew up a teddy bear in a parking lot before darting home, where he was arrested when police found a trove of weapons and drugs in his house.
Surveillance video outside a San Bernardino business shows the moment a man, who has yet to be identified, gets out of his car to place a teddy bear on the ground.
White smoke begins to emit from the stuffed animal until it explodes, sending its stuffing flying everywhere and startling witnesses in the parking lot.
The suspect could then be seen driving off quickly in his white van.
After reviewing the footage, San Bernardino police were able to track the suspect to his home in the city, where he was allegedly hiding weapons, explosives and drugs.
Police found a ghost gun, 200 rounds of ammunition, metal pipes that could be used to make explosives, illegal aerial fireworks, a ballistic vest and more than a kilogram of meth with packaging for sales.
The suspect was arrested on multiple felony counts, police said.
Officials did not say why the man blew up a teddy bear at the parking lot, but said an investigation was ongoing.
San Bernardino Police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for additional information.
