A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the neck during a wild melee outside a Randall’s Island migrant shelter Thursday afternoon, police sources said.
The victim was found outside the shelter with a wound from an “unknown sharp object” at around 3:30 p.m. according to police and sources.
He was taken by EMTs to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. It was unclear Thursday what sparked the bloodshed.
Photos taken by a Post photographer show multiple suspects arrested at the scene.
The incident came a week after a 24-year-old migrant was stabbed to death during a dispute over a woman.
Migrants at the makeshift tent city told The Post that safety is an ongoing issue.
“Everyone has a knife,” migrant Mauricio Pinto said at the time.
The shelter was erected last year to house the overflow of migrants who came to the Big Apple.
