Now that Israel and Hamas have a deal for the return of the hostages and an end to the Gaza war, the whole world is praising Donald Trump for his efforts.
The whole world except Zohran Mamdani, that is, and most of his “pro-Palestine” radical allies.
Asked if Trump deserves credit for the deal, a Mamdani aide referred our reporters to his remarks to 1010 WINS: “I’m hopeful at the news of a possible ceasefire,” he said, and “that it is lasting.”
He also lamented the tragedy “with Hamas’ horrific war crime on Oct. 7 and the Israeli government’s horrific war crimes since then leading to the genocide of Palestinians.”
That is, he fell back on his usual Israel-bashing — despicably equating Hamas’ terrorism with Israel’s totally legitimate response, and flat-out lying that the Jewish state was committing a “genocide.”
And, of course, not a single word about Trump.
The antisemitic mayoral wannabe just won’t be happy until the Jewish state is wiped off the face of the earth. (And maybe its Jewish inhabitants along with it?)
In Israel, by contrast, the jubilation — and explicit gratitude to Trump — was overwhelming. Celebrants cheered the American president, praising him while wearing masks of his face and waving American flags.

They danced even in Gaza: “Donald Trump! Donald Trump!” the residents there shouted, overjoyed that two years of Hamas-fueled hell appears to be ending.
World leaders gave Trump plenty of credit.
Heck, even a lefty MSNBC panel and The Washington Post’s David Ignatius lauded the prez over his “remarkable” peace deal.
The kudos are absolutely warranted: Getting both sides to agree to terms, even in principle, to have the hostages returned and move toward peace was surely no easy task.
Calls have now come from around the world to grant Trump a Nobel Prize for his and his team’s efforts.
Not Mamdani: He openly opposes the very notion of a Jewish state. It violates “universal” rights, you see, even though all Israeli citizens — Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Arabic or uber-progressive — enjoy equal rights.
Meanwhile, the war Hamas launched two years ago with its barbaric attack on innocent Israelis was all about destroying Israel — a goal Mamdani backs, even if he condemns Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre as “war crime.”
Don’t expect him to applaud Trump unless the president somehow brings an end to . . . Israel.
