The eyeliner guru’s family confirmed her death, from unknown causes, on Monday in an Instagram Story on her page, where she had over 186,000 followers, Jam Press reported.
“It is with deep regret and sadness that Juliana Rocha’s family informs you, her audience and people who loved her, that she has died,” read the statement, per Globo 1.
Meanwhile, a funeral was held on Tuesday for the late influencer’s family and friends.
As of yet, the Rio de Janeiro woman’s cause of death is unknown; however, some fans claimed that she’d died of cancer.
Thiago Mello, who claimed to be a friend of the family, wrote on Instagram, “I’m in shock. Unfortunately, it’s true, people. Juliana was battling leukemia.”
The family has not commented publicly on that matter.
Before her death, Rocha had become a sensation on TikTok, where she frequently posted makeup tutorials for her over 250,000 followers.
Her final video in August garnered a whopping 1.9 million views.
Along with posting makeover tips, Rocha was an avid fan of rap music and going to the beach.
The cosmetics world was crestfallen over the influencer’s death.
“Juliana’s presence and influence will always be remembered, not only by us but by her entire audience,” wrote Helloo Folks, the marketing agency which managed the content creator, in an Instagram Story. “Rest in peace, Ju, and may your light continue to shine in our hearts.”
