More shocking details have surfaced regarding the recent arrest of Love Island USA star Hannah Smith, who was apprehended by officers at a concert in Atlanta Sept. 30.

A source close to the investigation told TMZ that Smith allegedly threatened a police officer and her sister with a racially charged rant after she was handcuffed.

“Bitch. I can’t wait to kill you, you dumbass, ugly bitch ’cause you’re fucking fat, and they love us skinny bitches ’cause you’re fucking Black, and I hate Black bitches so I can’t wait to kill you and your sister, you dumbass bitch,” she reportedly yelled.

The reality star was arrested Sept. 30 after she began acting disorderly at the concert venue. TMZ reports that Smith allegedly tried to punch an officer who was escorting her to an Uber. She was then handcuffed and placed under arrest.

The arresting officer detailed in the warrant their interaction with Smith, writing, “She attempted to punch me, with a closed fist, however, she did not make contact with me,” per Us Weekly.

“While in handcuffs, she also attempted to kick me multiple times,” the officer wrote. “Said accused did threaten to commit a crime of violence. While [Smith] was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center, she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim.”

Smith was released the next day on bail after being charged with two felonies for terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer. TMZ noted prosecutors are currently reviewing her case to decide if she will be charged.

The terms of her bond state that Smith is barred from consuming alcohol and must “submit to random alcohol/drug tests at her own expense,” per Us Weekly.

Smith competed on Love Island USA Season 6, which became the No. 1 reality series across all streaming platforms after it premiered June 2024. Smith was originally coupled up with finalist Kendall Washington, but she was voted off the show on Day 10 after he left her for Nicole Jacky.

Smith expressed her regret over the arrest in a statement shared by her attorney, Mike Hawkins.

He explained to TMZ that she ordered a drink at The Roxy with friends but has “no memory of the events that occurred during, or after the concert.”

“Hannah is deeply troubled by these events,” Hawkins said. “She regrets any actions she took that offended anyone, including law enforcement.”
