Romance is in the air! Netflix‘s hit reality show Love Is Blind has set the date for their 2024 return and announced its early Season 7 renewal.

The sixth season will premiere on February 14, 2024. Yep, that’s right — Valentine’s Day! The new installment will follow a group of singles from Charlotte, North Carolina on their quest for love.

Since the show’s release in 2020, all five seasons have ranked in Netflix’s Global Top 10 with the latest season spending five consecutive weeks on the list for English-language TV.

In addition to the flagship series, Love Is Blind has inspired spin-offs in Brazil and Japan.

The show follows a group of singles as they participate in a social experiment that involves them getting engaged before ever meeting their partner face-to-face.

The contestants meet each other in pods, and once they agree to get married, they go on vacation, move in together, and plan their wedding. Then, upon their wedding day, they decide whether or not to go through with it.

Several former contestants have made allegations against Love Is Blind, with many citing mistreatment and poor work environments. Earlier this year, a report from Business Insider contained allegations from contestants who claimed they were deprived of food and sleep during 20-hour work days, and received little-to-no emotional support from producers.

And hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey have long sparked backlash for their sexist and biased treatment of the cast — which seemingly came to a head during the Season 4 reunion.

The previous year, Season 2 contestant Jeremy Hartwell sued Netflix and production company Kinetic Contens for various labor law violations, including fostering “inhumane working conditions” and paying cast members less than minimum wage.

The show typically airs over four weeks, followed by a reunion and “After the Altar” special. Season 5 has yet to air its special; though, the reunion premiered on October 15, 2023. The specials tends to come out 3 to 6 months after their respective reunion. With the next two seasons underway, it may be time to bid adieu to the previous group, which Decider’s Brett White described as “truly too complicated to sum up in one word.” However, the special may be released in the months leading to the new season.

As for now, it’s clear there’s a lot more Love is Blind coming in 2024 and beyond!
