The tea is piping hot! Rumor has it that Jeramey from Love Is Blind Season 6 was engaged while applying to be on the hit Netflix reality show.
The allegations began circulating on social media in the early hours of Feb. 22, 2024, nearly 24 hours after the latest drop of episodes hit the streamer.
Jenni Gelven Daniel posted a photo on Facebook of Jeramey and an unnamed woman who is holding a child. Daniel wrote, “Someone was engaged and living with someone when applying for this.”
When Daniel was asked how the photo was obtained, they responded, “In my phone. That’s my daughter and grandson.”
The information was later shared on Reddit where a person wrote, “A woman claims she was engaged to Jeramy before the show and they sold their house a few weeks before filming.” In the comments section, people are recalling odd moments from the season that support the allegations against Jeremey.
“Omg not Jeramey posing with his ex and her kid in front of a Christmas tree and then going on and on about how he wants Christmas morning with a future partner,” wrote one person in regards to the viral image.
“The gold silverware makes more sense now,” expressed another.
The latest season premiered Feb. 14, 2024 on Netflix with new episodes releasing on Wednesdays. On Feb. 21, 2024, four new episodes released, which follows the engaged couples back to Charlotte, North Carolina where they move in together and begin to meet each other’s friends and family.

When Jeramey’s fiancé Laura, a 34-year-old account director, visits his apartment for the first time, she’s shocked by its clean state and makes a throwaway comment about it being staged. She distinctly points out the lavish gold silverware.
Jeramey and Laura seemingly split up after Episode 9 after he lies about visiting another woman from the pod, Sarah Ann, with whom he connected closely with. At the end of the episode, Laura tells Jeramey that she “wants out.”
Author Bolu Babalola commented on the rumors, writing on Twitter, “As soon as he was wearing those sunglasses inside we should have known he was a sociopath.”
Another tweet shares screenshots from Daniel’s post with the caption, “This bitch… background check and psych evaluation my ass!” A person commented on the post, “The @LoveisBlindShow casting crew have got to do better on these background checks. Like don’t they search through Facebook, come on now. I even knew to do this in my early 20s.”

Netflix and Jeramey have yet to respond to the allegations, though Jeramey shared a heated post on Instagram on Feb. 21 where he slammed those criticizing his journey. “The amount of hate myself and other cast mates have received is over the top. We all had the courage to put ourselves in the public eye to watch an experiment unfold. For you, it’s entertainment, for us, it was apart of life at an accelerated pace,” he wrote.
“While everybody is entitled to their opinions, it’s fucking wild to make assumptions about everyone without 1) knowing us 2) being involved in any way 3) not being apart of the other thousands of hours of footage that’s captured,” Jeramey continued. “Everyone will get their change to speak when the time is right. Until then, we all get it.”
Well, this season’s reunion is sure to be an interesting one.
