Logan Paul just dropped a bomb on fans of Oppenheimer: he walked out of Christopher Nolan‘s summer blockbuster due to being bored by the film.

The YouTube and WWE personality shared the shocking revelation on Tuesday’s (Aug. 15) episode of his ImPaulsive podcast to co-host Mike Majlak and special guests Danny and Michael Philippou, the Australian twin brothers behind the new horror film Talk To Me under production company A24.

“I didn’t know what they were trying [to do],” he explained to Majlak and the Philippous. “‘What are you doing?’ Everyone’s just talking. It’s just an hour and a half, 90 minutes, of talking, just talking, talking.”

Paul did note that he “was also, separately, 18 minutes into Interstellar,” and considered walking out because “it was so slow.”

“And now Interstellar‘s [in] my top three favorite movies,” he admitted.

Michael Philippou, who prior to the release of Talk To Me, made “cinema-quality movies” for his viral YouTube channel RackaRacka with his brother, noted that unlike feature films, YouTube has a certain element of “hooking people and keeping them engaged” from the get-go.

Paul, whose one critique of the Philippou brothers’ film was also that the “first 20 minutes were too slow,” acknowledged that he “realized what [they] were doing.”

“Those first 20 minutes are really important for building the characters,” Paul highlighted. He ultimately praised the film alongside Majlak, who pointed out that as of the making of the episode, was ranked one percent higher on Rotten Tomatoes than Oppenheimer.

(As of Aug. 21, Talk To Me held a fresh score of 95%, while Oppenheimer was two percent behind with a fresh score of 93%).

Both Oppenheimer and A24’s Talk To Me are available to view in theaters.
