Not everyone can be as “lucky genetically” as Mark Consuelos, and no one knows that better than Kelly Ripa.

Consuelos recounted his “quick trip” to Scottsdale, Arizona over the weekend for a “mini family reunion” on Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, pulling out a selfie featuring him, his brother, and his father. After taking a look at the family image, Ripa was quick to to point out their distinct “family face.”

“I can spot a Consuelos anywhere,” she claimed, “because it’s all one face. Even our kids have the face.”

While Consuelos shared that he was only present for “the first day” and could not stay for the rest of the week’s festivities, he and Ripa noted that his father turns 86 this week, as Ripa gushed that “he looks great.”

“What’s so funny about your dad is that he’s just now — and it started about three or four years ago — just starting to get gray hair,” she explained. “It is so wild. You’re so lucky genetically.”

Consuelos chimed in, “People ask me or they look at me — other guys will be like, ‘Do you dye your hair?’ I said, ‘No! I don’t dye my hair.'”

Although Ripa reiterated that her husband and co-host is “just genetically gifted,” Consuelos clarified that he’s “starting to get a few” gray hairs, pointing to particular areas of his head. Nonetheless, Ripa proceeded to roll her eyes and shake her head.

“It’s so irritating. He’s got like two gray hairs, and he’s like, ‘Did you see this? I have a gray hair.’ And I’m like, ‘Congratulations!'” she teased, as she jokingly applauded him.
