Kelly Ripa made her triumphant — albeit previously recorded — return to Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, and got right down to business with her “smoking hot” husband and co-host Mark Consuelos.
During their host chat, Rip was tasked with switching gears from talking about left-handed people to a more steamy subject matter.
“Hide your children,” she quipped, “because this article is not for the young. Apparently I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.”
As for what Ripa has been doing wrong, she read, “They say that for more pleasurable sex, you should eat first.”
“Now you know, I have a very strict no eating thing before,” she explained. “He knows if we go out to dinner, and I order more than a sensible salad, he’s all bummed out. He gets bummed. He’s like, ‘Are you sure you want the burger?’ I’m like, ‘I’m absolutely positive.'”
Consuelos chimed in and teased, “Dessert?!”
After Ripa reiterated that Consuelos “gets very sad about it,” she shared that “food and sex are two of life’s greatest pleasures, and science says that they are better together.”

“They say that soft caresses don’t feel as satisfying if you’re hungry,” she continued reading. “There’s a gut hormone that drives food motivation and increases [in] food intake was intrinsically linked to levels of pleasure. And so, it’s better to eat before you are intimate.”
Nonetheless, Ripa claimed that she is “still sticking with [her] salad.”
