This morning concluded Live with Kelly and Mark‘s “Live Loves New York” Week, and Kelly Ripa posed a wild idea about her hubby Mark Consuelos‘ favorite spots in the Big Apple.

After pumping up the audience with their upcoming segments — which included an interview with comedian Tracy Morgan and The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge — Ripa announced that they will conclude their themed week with “a look at Mark’s favorite New York spots.”

While she looked taken aback by this segment after reading the teleprompter, Consuelos explained, “Yeah, well, there are a few [places], just a few. Just a few mean a lot to me.”

As he shared that he would be taking both the audience and “hopefully” his wife and co-host to these undisclosed locations, Ripa made her guess as to where they may be taking a field trip.

“We’re doing a strip club crawl?” Ripa asked, eliciting laughter from both Consuelos and the audience.

“Yes!” Consuelos exclaimed while cracking up.

“I’m just kidding,” Ripa said, patting Consuelos’ back to reassure him that it was a joke.

“Oh my gosh,” Consuelos uttered, as he attempted to reel in the audience by abruptly introducing another segment that would take place later in the episode.

Consuelos was back alongside Ripa on Live today after being out sick yesterday morning (Sept. 14), and he certainly came back with a bang.
