Lionel Messi was supported by his biggest fan on Sunday during his highly anticipated Inter Miami introduction.
The Argentinian soccer star, 36, arrived at DRV PNK Stadium in rainy Fort Lauderdale with his family, including wife Antonela Roccuzzo, who wowed in a white lace-up corset top and bright pink slacks.
The couple, who wed in 2017, was also joined by their sons.
Messi’s official MLS unveil comes roughly one month after the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner revealed he intended to take his talents to South Florida following two seasons in France with Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain.
Inter Miami announced Messi’s signing on Saturday, with his contract running through 2025 and will reportedly pay him between $50 and $60 million annually.
“I am very happy to have chosen to come to this city with my family, to have chosen this project, and I have no doubt that we are going to enjoy it very much,” Messi said following Sunday’s introduction, according to ESPN.
“We are going to have a good time, and great things are going to happen. Thank you very much, thank you all for this day.”
Fellow soccer legend David Beckham, now a co-owner of Inter Miami, embraced Messi during the festivities.
Messi is already feeling at home in the Sunshine State and recently snapped a selfie with a fan during a grocery run at Publix.
Inter Miami is currently last in the Eastern Conference standings with five wins this season.
