Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, was hit with an emergency protective order Monday after he allegedly assaulted his estranged wife, Kate Major.
A judge granted the order requiring Michael refrain from assaulting or communicating with Major in a threatening or harassing matter, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Michael, 64, is also prohibited from coming within 200 feet of Major’s home or job.
The development comes after Michael was arrested for assault Saturday following an alleged fight with Major.
Page Six confirmed he was charged with “continuous violence against the family” and taken into custody in Texas.
A spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office told us Major, 42, had been at a doctor’s appointment when she spotted Michael in the parking lot of the building. She then called police, thinking he had been following her.
In her report, Major claimed to cops that Michael had flipped her out of a chair a few days prior. She complained of pain and discomfort, and an officer confirmed she had bruises.
Although reps for Major never got back to us for comment, Michael denied the accusations through his lawyer in a statement to TMZ.

Andino Reynal claimed to the outlet that Major is an alcoholic with a criminal record, which includes several DUI arrests and at least three convictions.
The attorney explained that Michael has tried to help Major get clean “for her own good and for the good of their two young children.”
However, “when it became clear Kate was not going give up drinking, Michael asked her to move out of the guesthouse where she had been living — and these [police] accusations followed.”
Reynal called the timing of Major’s claims “suspicious.”
Michael and Major — who married in 2014 before she filed for divorce four years later — both have had several run-ins with the law over the years.
Major was arrested for domestic battery in 2018, and Michael found himself behind bars in 2020 for allegedly being physically abusive.
Cops also got involved during a heated 2024 confrontation between the two. At the time, Major shared an Instagram video of herself and Michael fighting outside their home.
The former couple shares sons Landon, 12, and Logan, 10, while Michael is also a dad to Lindsay, 38, Michael Jr., 37, Aliana, 31, and Dakota, 28, with ex-wife Dina Lohan and Ashley, 29, with Kristi Kaufmann.
