An Argentine friend of Liam Payne’s, a hotel employee and a drug dealer are facing charges over the singer’s death on Oct. 16.

Per multiple Argentine outlets, the friend is being accused of abandonment of a person after he allegedly failed to respond to CasaSur Palermo Hotel’s calls about Payne’s erratic behavior.

The pal allegedly tried to be a witness for authorities, claiming he had been at the hotel at the time of Payne’s death, but some employees said they never saw him.

As for the hotel employee, who has been fired from CasaSur Palermo, and the dealer, they have been accused of facilitating Payne with the drugs that were found in his system at the time of his death.
